The arrival of the December security patch for the Galaxy S7 Edge marks the second time Samsung updated the international model of its 2016 flagship in just six weeks and is indicative of an improvement in regards to the company’s software support practices. Since its release, this particular model usually received updates every two to three months and often skipped two sets of patches at a time before receiving a third one.
